Chickens for Sale
We currently have for sale..
13 Easter egger chicks. These lay blue-green and pink eggs. They are 1
week old. $3.00 each ..straight run.
8 spangled russian orloff chicks that are about 2 months old. They are
$5.00 each straight run.
8 golden campine chicks that are three weeks old..straight run..that are
$3.00 each.
16 bantam cochin chicks that are 2 weeks old. $3.00 each straight run.
Most of these are black.
2 production red chicks that are 6 weeks old. $4.00 each straight run
1 barred rock chick that is 6 weeks old. $4.00 straight run
14 rhode island red chicks that are 2 weeks old. $3.50 each ..straight
run.
We hatch a lot of different breeds so please check our for sales list
often.
We can deliver to the Tulsa area most weekdays and sometimes on
saturday or sunday. We can deliver to Prague or Stroud almost any
time. And we are in Harrah once a month. We don't however ship
chicks. We just live too far from the bigger cities to make it practical
for us.

All of our chickens free range once they are old enough. We strongly
believe that fresh air, bugs and grass make for the healthiest chickens!
The chicks spend the first week after hatching in the cabin so that i
can be sure that they are eating and drinking well. Then they are
moved to an outside brooder where they can be under a heat lamp all
the time. After that they are moved to a large unheated 12x12 grow
house where they run free together learning to scratch and be
chickens. At 3 months, when they are big enough for the chicken
hawks to leave them alone, they are turned out with the rest of the
flock to free range.
When we are ready to gather hatching eggs from any of our purebred
birds the hens are put into one of our breeding pens with the rooster
of their breed for 3 weeks before the eggs are collected for hatching
so that we'll know the chicks are purebred chicks of that breed.
We've found that this gives us very healthy hatching eggs and chicks
because being able to free range keeps our hens so healthy and
healthy hens lay healthy eggs!
