Missy is a 13.2 hh buckskin Haflinger/Welsh cross pony mare.
She's 3 1/2 years old and we've owned her since she was about
9 months old.

Missy has been trained using natural horsemanship methods all
of her life. She free lunges, lunges, gives to pressure, ground
drives, and is comfortable with all kinds of things tossed over and
around her. She's a very willing and very intelligent mare with
very little pony attitude.
Missy has been started under saddle and worked lightly but she
will need 30-60 days of training to be ready for a child rider.
She's a very stout pony and is already balancing well under an
adult rider.

I originally bought Missy and her half brother in hopes of putting
together a pony team. Missy out grew her brother and i sold him,
but she's so much fun to train that i couldn't make myself sell
her. But we don't have any children young enough to need a
pony and she's a pony that needs a job so we've decided to offer
her for sale.

Missy is very good with her feet. She has no vices other than
like most ponies she likes to search your pockets for treats but
will quit when told to. She's an extremely easy keeper and
maintains a good weight on just pasture or hay. She's easy to
catch, load and clip. She loves baths and playing in the water
and will come to the fence to be hosed off anytime your filling
water troughs!
