tried layering for a lasgna garden..but it just didn't feel
*right*! So Den took pity on me and tilled me up a
nice big garden spot! It took him all of one day from
dawn to dusky and he was sure Id never be able to

I've planted 5 rows of potatoes, 71 tomato plants, 5
different kinds of hot peppers, bell peppers,
eggplants, cucumbers, both pole and bush green
beans, winter squash, summer squash and zucchini
squash, broccoli, pod peas and snap peas, corn, and
strawberries!

After a solid week of rain my garden is really
starting to grow!

The drought hit my garden hard this year sigh. I got quite a few
tomatoes and the cherry tomatoes were especially tasty! We also
got a couple messes of peas, eggplants, squash, bell peppers, hot
peppers and potatoes. El nino is supposed to bring us a warm wet
winter so hopefully next years garden will produce a bumper crop!
